DICE AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SCIENCE (AFS)
DICE Agriculture and Food Science (AFS) is collaboration of DICE Foundation and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSAUM) with the support of consortium universities including University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB). AFC provides a platform for Agriculture and Food Science related innovations and for collaboration among academia, industry, government, entrepreneurs, and expatriates to integrate science, technology, and policy solutions to solve pressing food security challenges faced by Pakistan. It aims to mobilize agricultural scientists and professionals around the world (especially of Pakistani origin), to take advantage of their expertise and experiences for the growth of agriculture sector and improve agricultural economy of Pakistan.
DICE AFS ANNUAL INNOVATION EVENT
DICE AFS Innovation Event 2021 is scheduled to be held at on Oct 25th and 26th , 2021 at the MNSUAM Multan.
DICE AFS Annual Innovation 2019 Event was held on March 22nd & 23rd 2019 at MNSUAM Multan.
DICE SHARKS PROJECTS
DICE Sharks projects will be funded by different agriculture and food industries.
NATIONAL INNOVATION BASKET
Farmer portal is one of the mega projects and part of Dice Foundation National Innovation basket (NIB) initiative. The purpose of NIB is to identify and execute mega projects which will bring significant economic benefits to Pakistan’s economy in steady state within five years.
